Laurel and Grey is a social-forward digital marketing agency passionate about promoting and protecting the brands and individuals we work with. Founded in 2017 by agency veteran Katy Rutkin, our services include strategy and planning, content creation, paid media, platform management, influencer marketing, and more. Our clients include brands in food and beverage, retail, education technology, B2B, and beauty.
Laurel and Grey seeks an experienced digital media specialist to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for supporting the media team in strategy, planning, execution, implementation, optimization, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has the ability to think critically and strategically, and maintains a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in paid digital media is required and agency experience is preferred.
This position is fully remote and would require a maximum of 60 hours per month (~15 hours per week).
Responsibilities include:
Manage and execute digital and social media campaigns, with an emphasis on programmatic and search.
Develop media strategy and plans that include: consumer research, media mix strategy, budget allocation, audience targeting and segmentation, and customer journey.
Participate in the creative development process eg. writing briefs, guiding creation, and copywriting.
Understand and execute whitelisting with influencers and partners.
Build flowcharts and update them as necessary.
Provide regular campaign reporting; use reporting and analytics to influence media strategies.
Assist in the management of all client media budgets and ensure accurate monthly media billing
Identify and evaluate emerging paid media channels to scale into.
Participate in regular client meetings via Zoom or Google Meets.
Experience:
3-4 years of diverse paid media experience
Extensive knowledge of paid platforms including Google, Amazon DSP, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Command of the digital paid media landscape (paid social, search, display, programmatic)
Confident in paid media best practices, analytics, and attribution
Strong data skills including analyzing, visualizing, and extracting insights
Compensation:
Freelance employee will be paid at an hourly rate that will take into account skills and experience.
